Animated, the community dance magazine, is published by People Dancing. Written by dance artists and dance/arts professionals, it reflects community dance culture in the UK and beyond. Animated encourages debate, dialogue and reflection on current issues and community dance practice.

With new writing, diverse perspectives and expert opinions, the current edition of Animated is essential reading for dancers, teaching artists and community. A collection of eight wonderfully wide-ranging articles from academics to artists on the ground are gathered together here to offer a rapid overview of this field - as useful for those who already specialise as for those simply keen to keep up with this hottest of topics in dance and the arts.
